Children are such a blessing from God and are full of life and lessons if we just take the time to observe and take it all in. The scriptures say that unless we change and become like little children, we can't enter the kingdom of heaven. Children have so many qualities that we grow out of way too quickly. Things like honesty, faith, trust, vulnerability, and a love for life.

Right now Luke is so dependent on Stef and he completely trusts her to take care of him and to meet all of his needs. He knows that all he has to do is make a noise and she will run to his aid. God is like that with us too but we don't believe it anymore. We grow out of our dependency on God and become adults who think we are big enough to take care of ourselves.

Three and a half weeks ago, my oldest daughter's life got extremely interesting. It's amazing the difference a 9 pound addition to your family can make. The two boys she already had kept her busy enough, but now she has a little one that wants to nurse constantly.
